CLARITY BEFORE COMMITMENT

A better search starts
with better questions.

An owner’s claim and an independent check are different things. We make that difference visible.

01

Find your fit

Choose your area, budget and room preference. Save a shortlist and compare the details side by side.

02

Check the evidence

Look at the source, date, price notes and missing details. Ask about security, hygiene, deposits and house rules.

03

Talk, visit, then decide

Use the published contact to confirm rent and availability. Arrange a visit and agree the terms directly with the hostel.

PLANNED

What an Aashian verified badge should mean

On-site checks of identity or registration, hygiene, security, photos, pricing and policies; a dated inspection record; resident follow-up and a complaints process. Rechecks and badge removal are part of the intended model.

No badge without evidence.

This private version explains the model. Independent verification and complaint handling are not operating here yet.

THE STORY BEHIND AASHIAN

Moving cities is hard.
Finding a home
shouldn’t be.

For students arriving in Islamabad or Rawalpindi without local contacts, a hostel search can mean repeated trips, unclear prices, misleading photos and rules discovered only after moving in.

Aashian grew from students experiencing that uncertainty themselves. Our purpose is to bring housing information into one accessible place, so you can compare your options and ask informed questions before relocating.

We pay particular attention to first-time relocators, women moving alone, rural students and students working within tight budgets. The ambition is simple: less uncertainty, clearer choices, and more room to focus on your education.

CARRYING AASHIAN FORWARD

Toufeeq Ahmed, project lead of Aashian

Toufeeq Ahmed

Project lead · Aashian

A student’s experience.
A commitment to keep building.

Aashian began as a collaborative student project. Toufeeq helped bring it to life through its visual identity, logo, social media content and storytelling, alongside the team that developed the platform and carried out hostel outreach.

Having experienced relocating for studies and living in hostels himself, he understands why reliable information, clear pricing and better living conditions matter. When the original team stepped away, he chose to continue Aashian independently.

He is now taking the project forward by improving the website and how students explore housing information, while working toward a stronger verification process. His focus remains on helping students arriving in Islamabad and Rawalpindi make informed choices before they move.

FOR HOSTEL OWNERS

Your hostel.
The right students.

Help students understand what you offer before they call. Prepare a complete listing with honest pricing, facilities, location and policies.

  • Clear details that reduce repeated questions
  • Transparent room costs and house rules
  • A path toward evidence-based verification

Creates a downloadable draft. Owner accounts, online submission and listing approval are planned.

A GOOD LISTING STARTS WITH
01

An exact locationAddress, landmarks and a confirmed map pin.

02

The complete costPer-person rent, meals, utilities and deposits.

03

The real experienceRecent photos, room types, security and policies.

Paying for a listing must never replace verification.

BEFORE YOU MOVE

A few things to know.

Can I book and pay through Aashian?

Instant booking and payments are planned. You can currently prepare an inquiry and use sourced hostel contact links. A message is not a reservation; confirm availability, terms and payment arrangements directly.

What does “operator source” mean?

Details came from the hostel’s own public website. They remain owner-reported information. Aashian has not independently inspected the hostel or confirmed today’s availability.

Are the 2024 PDF prices and photos current?

No. These source files were last updated in June–July 2024; some rate cards are older. Their details are useful leads to recheck, not current offers. Confirm prices, facilities, policies, the exact branch and present conditions directly.

What are Aashian outreach listings?

These are hostel contacts from the team’s shared Hostel Data Gathering sheet, last updated 9 July 2026. Areas and contact names are shown where recorded. Owner responses to the project are not student reviews or evidence of an inspection. Confirm today’s rent, availability, facilities and policies directly.

Why do some listings have no price or policy?

The information has not been reliably established. Missing details are shown as “Ask the owner” or “Not confirmed” instead of being guessed. Historical prices are labelled and may have changed.

Where are student reviews?

No authenticated resident reviews are available in this version. We do not import unverified testimonials or create ratings. Resident review submission and moderation are planned.

How are my saved choices and drafts stored?

Your shortlist and comparison choices stay in this browser when local storage is available. Inquiry and owner forms stay on this page until you close them; nothing is submitted to Aashian. Downloaded drafts remain on your device. WhatsApp, phone and map links open external services.
